Meet the Photographer

I'm not one for faffing about, so I'll get straight to it. Photography, for me, is about grabbing life by its fleeting moments and wrestling them into something that lasts, something that stares back at you with more than just a whiff of nostalgia. It's not just a job. It's my calling. And I've been lucky enough to set up my easel, so to speak, on the staggeringly beautiful island of Naxos. It's my base, my muse, and frankly, my bit on the side.

My adventure into the world of photography didn't start with any grand plan. It was more like a hobby that got out of hand. I found myself utterly absorbed by the pursuit of capturing those brief, whimsical moments that life flings at us, often when we're looking the other way. The idea of turning this passion into a paycheck initially seemed about as appealing as drinking vinegar. However, the pull of creating lasting visual memories proved too potent to resist. And before I knew it, I was knee-deep in the whole rigmarole—scouting for the unseen, tinkering with images until they said precisely what I intended them to.

London, with its chaotic blend of the old and new, served as a bit of an educational pit stop for me. It sharpened my eye, I suppose. But it was the breathtaking splendor of Greece, where I spent my formative years, that truly taught me to appreciate beauty in its most unadulterated form. Now, settled in Naxos, I'm spoiled for choice really. The island is a canvas—an endlessly inspiring backdrop for my visual stories.

My pursuit of perfection has somehow earned me a bit of a name. Perhaps it's my obsessive attention to detail or my bulldog-like dedication to the craft. Whatever it is, it's led to my work not just meeting but vaulting over client expectations. And it's not just the folks commissioning the shots who've taken notice.
