Terms of Service
Welcome to Naxos Photographer. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:
Booking Deposit & Payment
To secure your booking, a 15% deposit is required. This upfront payment confirms your session and ensures we are prepared to deliver high-quality photography services. The remaining balance is due on or before the session date.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans may change, and we strive to be accommodating. However, please note that deposits are non-refundable upon cancellation. This policy allows us to allocate resources effectively and maintain service quality.
If you need to reschedule, we require at least 72 hours notice to apply your deposit toward a new date, subject to availability.
Photographic Materials & Copyright
All photographic outputs, including digital images, negatives, and slides, are the property of Naxos Photographer. We may use these materials for portfolio purposes, contests, exhibitions, and self-promotion. Any other usage requires your explicit consent.
Client's Usage Rights
Purchased prints and digital images are for personal use and may not be resold. While we retain exclusive duplication rights, we are happy to discuss any special requests regarding additional copies or extended usage rights.
Clients may print and share images for personal use, but commercial use or publication requires written permission.
Social Media Etiquette
We appreciate your crediting us when sharing our work on social media. We request that images not be altered in any way and that family and friends respect this guideline.
Unforeseen Circumstances
In the event of natural disasters, illness, or other uncontrollable circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling our agreement, we will refund any payments made. However, our liability is limited to the amount paid and does not extend beyond this refund.
If we are unable to attend the session due to an emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement photographer of equal skill and experience.
High-Resolution Images
We provide high-resolution images at 300 DPI, with at least 3000 pixels on the longest side, to ensure your prints are impeccable.
Records Retention
We retain your files for one year from the session date, after which they will be securely and permanently deleted. We do not hold liability for any claims after this period.
Liability During Shoots
We welcome children to our sessions, but kindly remind parents and guardians that their safety is always your responsibility.
We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or property damage that may occur during the session.
Exclusivity
To maintain the highest quality of our work, no other professional or aspiring photographers may conduct sessions at the location while we are engaged.
Photographer Discretion
Our photography approach is based on artistic vision and experience. Please provide a detailed shot list in advance if you have specific requests.
We reserve the right to refuse any requests that do not align with our artistic style.
Additional Editing
Requests for extra editing are subject to a €30 per image fee. Please communicate any specific retouching needs before final delivery.
Revisions & Final Delivery
After the final images are delivered, clients are entitled to one round of minor revisions. Any additional revisions will incur a fee of €30 per image.
All revision requests must be submitted within 7 days of image delivery. Any requests beyond this period will not be accommodated, and the delivery will be considered final.
Hair, Makeup, & Wardrobe
We strive to capture you at your best, but hair, makeup, and wardrobe adjustments are not included in post-production unless previously agreed upon in the contract.
Breaks & Meals
Short breaks will be taken for sessions lasting over four hours to maintain energy levels. A full guest meal is kindly requested for extended sessions.
Date & Location Changes
Any session date or location changes must be made via email to ensure clear communication and accurate scheduling.
Rescheduled sessions are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing.
Guest Photography
While we welcome your guests' enthusiasm, we cannot be held responsible for interrupted or spoiled shots caused by guest photography.
Privacy & Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and will not share personal information or private session details without consent.
Communication
All correspondence should be in English and via email to ensure clarity and efficiency.
