Terms of Service

Welcome to Naxos Photographer (Studio) Terms of Service. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Booking Deposit & Payment

   To secure your booking, we require a 15% deposit. This upfront payment ensures that we are ready and equipped to deliver you photography services of the highest standard.

2. Cancellation Policy

   We understand plans can change and strive to be accommodating. However, please note that deposits secure your booking but are non-refundable if cancelled. This ensures we maintain our service quality. Your deposit represents your commitment and helps us allocate resources efficiently. We value your understanding and are here for any questions or further assistance.

3. Photographic Materials & Copyright

   All photographic outputs, including photographs, negatives, and slides generated during our services, are the property of our company. While we mainly use these materials for creating samples, entering contests, exhibitions, and self-promotion, any other usage will require your explicit consent.

4. Client's Usage Rights

   Purchased prints are for your enjoyment and should not be resold. While we hold the exclusive rights to duplicate any prints, we are open to discussing any special requirements or requests for additional copies you may have.

5. Social Media Etiquette

   Crediting us is much appreciated when sharing our work on social media platforms. We kindly ask you not to alter the images and inform your friends and family to respect this guideline.

6. In Case We Cannot Perform

   Should unforeseen events such as natural disasters, illness, or other uncontrollable circumstances prevent us from holding up our end of the Agreement, rest assured that we will reimburse any payments you make. Nevertheless, our liability does not extend beyond this refund.

7. High-Resolution Images

   We provide high-resolution images at 300 DPI, with at least 3000 pixels on the longest side, to ensure your prints are impeccable.

8. Records Retention

   Your files are kept in our records for one year following your session, after which they are securely and permanently deleted. We do not hold liability for any claims after this deletion period.

9. Liability During Shoots

   We adore having children as part of our photo sessions, but their safety is your priority. Ensure you're prepared to look after their needs throughout our time together.

10. Exclusivity

    To guarantee the excellence of our work, we ask that no other professional or aspiring photographers be allowed to shoot at the location while we are contracted to work.

11. Photographer Discretion

    Our approach to photography trusts in our extensive experience and artistic vision, from capturing to editing the photos. If there are particular shots you desire, please feel free to provide us with a "shot list."

12. Additional Editing

    Requests for additional editing are subject to a fee of 30 EUR per image. Please communicate any specific adjustments you wish for us to make.

13. Hair, Makeup, & Wardrobe

    We aim to photograph you looking your absolute best. However, we do not offer photo editing services that adjust hair, makeup, or wardrobe unless it has been prearranged in the contract.

14. Breaks & Meals

    In sessions that span over four hours, we will periodically take breaks to ensure we remain energetic and focused on capturing beautiful photographs. For these extended sessions, a full guest meal is kindly requested.

15. Date & Location Changes

    For clear understanding and record-keeping, we insist that any changes concerning the date or location of the session be communicated through email.

16. Photo Cooperation

    We recognize that we cannot manage interruptions from guest photography and, as such, cannot be held accountable for any shots potentially spoiled by these occurrences.

17. Communication

    All interactions and correspondences with us should be conducted in English and through email for clarity and effective communication.
